QUASAR NEWS

We have only been to a couple of the local shows this year, Mav and Cilla have both gained their last points and are the latest Champions for Quasar. We have a new addition to the Quasar family with Puzzle joining us from Sivad Boxers. We have the latest round of ARVC tests come back with excellent results....bringing the total negatives to a count of 15 and pos het total to 3.(Hazel, Boo, Tickle )

Monty ended 2010 well winning RESERVE BEST IN SHOW at the Auckland Boxer Club INC Champ show, under breed specialist Monique Hodgkinson of Tanyiti Boxers in South Africa, and also winning an all breeds RESERVE BEST IN SHOW in December.
One of the hardest parts of being a breeder is the rehoming of an older dog, this is not something we under take lightly as all of our dogs are part of our daily life and live inside with us. Cheers was retired after her last show in March 2010 where she went RESERVE BEST IN SHOW, and has now left us to go to her new forever home.

Wow not sure where 2010 has gone, but sure has gone fast. We have not been showing as much this year, due to rising costs of travel we have only been doing local shows., Carter is now enjoying retirement, and we have been campaining Mav who has been doing very well in the ring and only requires 1 more CC to become a Champion. Cilla has also continued to do well. Monty's first babies have made their debut Ida and Nellie . We hope to bring Boo out shortly and give her a taste of the ring.
